The cork used to insulate the inside of the hive is 100% natural and recyclable.
The LIS brand cork is produced without the addition of any additive or artificial binder (glue), by a special treatment of crushing and grinding of the cork bark. Its manufacturing process, free from environmental impacts, has the primary purpose of obtaining the dimensional stability of the panels.
The LIS cork has an excellent resistance to compression, is in fact intaccabile by insects and rodents and is washable with simple water or jet of pressure washer. This cork is longlasting and also a natural thermal insulation, breathable and healthy, which promotes the circulation of oxygen between the external environment and the object in which it is applied.
